Welcome to Elixxia. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Elixxia recipe management application and related services (the "Service") operated by Elixxia ("we", "us", or "our").

• Import recipes from websites, text, or images using AI-powered extraction
• Share collections with other users
• Access your recipes across devices

3. Free and Paid Features

The Service offers both free and premium features:

• Free accounts: Manual recipe creation, collection management, sharing, and a limited number of AI imports.
• Pro accounts: Additional AI import quota and access to premium features as they become available.

We reserve the right to modify features, pricing, and usage limits at any time with reasonable notice to users.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or import to the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and display Your Content within the Service
• Process Your Content as necessary to provide the Service
• Share Your Content with users you explicitly authorize through collection sharing features

You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to upload, import, and share it.

5. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts

• Use the AI import feature to extract content you do not have rights to use

6. AI-Powered Features

The Service includes AI-powered features for importing, modifying, and managing recipes. When using these features:

• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you submit for AI processing
• AI-generated content may not be 100% accurate; always verify important details such as ingredients and cooking times
• We are not responsible for errors in AI-generated or AI-modified content
• Usage limits may apply based on your account type

7. Collection Sharing

When you share a collection with other users:

• You control who has access and what permissions they have (view-only or edit)
• Shared content becomes visible to invited users
• You can revoke access at any time
• You remain responsible for the content in collections you own

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Elixxia and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Recipe content, including nutritional information and cooking instructions, is provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantees about accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose. Always use your own judgment when preparing food, especially regarding allergies and dietary restrictions.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELIXXIA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Elixxia and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with or without notice. Upon termination:

• Your Content may be deleted after a reasonable retention period
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect
